How do we embrace it as a practice, amongst the drive for life?

Wintering is not simply an act of slowing down. It is not simply a choice. There are so many things that affect our ability to feel peace, be still, take our time, rest. Our nervous system, the demands of our lives, our hearts, and our society; They all have a say, either subconsciously or consciously, as to whether we can take the time to deeply truly vibrantly WINTER….

It is a journey to relearning, dismembering, learning, practicing, training, digging, unearthing and nurturing in order to be able to meet ourselves in a place where we may truly begin to feel and taste peace.

It is radical.

It is essential.

For us, and the earth, for the ones we pass it to.

ONLINE PRACTICES AND MONTHLY SHARING CIRCLES

The doors open on Monday November 20th.

You will receive the key to enter our portal where we have carefully laid down practices by our hearth for you to immerse yourself in at home, in your own time. Each of these practices address and nurture the themes of that month in our earth cycle, in the cosmic cycle and the inner cycle so you may attune to your own journey as you wind down through the descent into the deepest parts of winter. Knowing that as you journey you are not alone, but are supported in an invisible and present network of others on the same path as you.

The practices are released each month and you will have weeks to sink into them, and explore them, repeat them before we meet in the next online circle to witness each others’ process and connect in with one another.

This repeats 3 times for the duration of our Wintering.

Opening online circle : Monday 20th Nov 8.30-9.30pm

PRACTICES RELEASED : HOLDING THE LIMINAL

ONLINE CIRCLE : Monday 18th Dec 8.30-9.30pm

PRACTICES RELEASED : INSIDE THE SLUMBERING CAVE

ONLINE CIRCLE : Monday 22nd Jan 8.30-9.30pm

PRACTICES RELEASED : TENDING THE ROOTS.

ONLINE CIRCLE : Monday 19th Feb 8.30-9.30pm

You will met by 3 practitioners.

You will be given physical tools to encourage release and relaxation into the parasympathetic nervous system.

You will be given prompts and guidelines to move out into the nature, the world around you, to explore themes that arise in tune with this point in the cycle of the year.

You will be given the opportunity to unearth hidden aspects of the self. Descent is when we uncover and see more clearly the raw emotions beneath the journey of our lives. it is natural that this happens and it is necessary that we know we are held as we do this.

You will be led out of your beta brain states where the dreamtime lies. An essential ingredients for a healthy human psyche. Where we meet parts of our selves that are hidden. Where we meet one another in a more raw and alive space. Where we forge community and rebuild our real connection to one another.

You will be guided in simple and tangible ritual to be enacted in your own time when your heart is ready.

You will be met.

You will be witnessed.

You will witness.

We will walk together.

Join the Wintering Online course and move through the decent with us

3 practices plus one online circle per month for 3 months.

Amount is based on an honesty box, no questions asked system that aims to spread the costs of the course fairly between those attending, depending on what you can afford. Please contribute what you are able to..

Our introductory circle begins on Monday 20th BUT you are able to join The Wintering at any time during its duration.
